The contact form collects the fields shown on it: your name, email address, phone number if you give one, your firm or organization if you give one, the parties you name, and the message you write.

The site sets no advertising cookies and runs no third-party tracking scripts. Standard server logs record requests, including IP address, for security and reliability.

The site counts page views. Each one records the page and the time, and nothing that identifies you: no name, no address, no advertising or analytics identifier, and nothing that links one view to another.

Printed material carries a short code in its web address, so we can tell which card or flyer someone came from. If you arrived that way, the code is held for the length of your visit and is saved with your message if you send one. It says which piece of paper you were holding, not who you are.

Contact form submissions are used to reply to you, to check for conflicts before an engagement, and to keep a record of the inquiry. They are not sold, rented, or used for marketing lists.

A message sent through this site is an inquiry, not a privileged communication, and no mediation confidentiality attaches to it. Confidentiality obligations begin when an engagement does, on the terms of the engagement agreement.

Inquiries are kept as business records. You can ask what has been kept about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted where there is no legal or professional reason to keep it.
